History

On November 11, 1929, a group of approximately thirty entrepreneurs submitted a petition to the Lieutenant Governor of Aruba, requesting the establishment of an organization to represent their collective interests. This initiative led to the creation of the Aruba Chamber of Commerce and Industry, officially founded by government decree on September 8, 1930. From its inception, the Aruba Chamber was designated as “the representative body of trade and industry in Aruba.”
