Entrepreneurs can browse basic information on registered companies through the Chamber’s online registry, which is updated frequently. To view more detailed company information, you can purchase a credit or subscription.
In addition to a business license, keep in mind that some types of businesses require additional permits.
Managing directors who are born in Aruba and have the Dutch nationality, naturalized individuals on Aruba, individuals whom at least one parent is born in Aruba and individuals who are married with one of the beforementioned individuals do not require a director’s license. All other cases require a director’s license.
Write a business plan so you know exactly what you are doing and review it every year to ensure you are still on the right track.
You can purchase a branch list or a list of all registered companies. Call ext. 335, 342, or 330, or send an email to businessinfo@arubachamber.com.
You can modify and update your company data whenever necessary by logging into your My Chamber account. If you require assistance, contact or make an appointment for help with the process.
Keep an eye on the Chamber’s activity calendar so you won’t miss interesting events in Aruba or abroad that might benefit your business.
Ensure your email address is up to date with the Chamber so you can be informed about news, events, or other relevant information.
After registering at the Aruba Chamber, remember to register your business at the Tax Department, the Social Security bank (SVb) and the General Health Insurance (AZV).
Keep in mind that the Chamber’s annual contribution must be paid each year prior to March 15. Payment can be made through your My Chamber account, by bank transfer (see our bank account numbers at the bottom of the webpage), or at the reception desk at the Chamber’s office.
