Introduction to the services provided
at the Chamber:
The Aruba Chamber of Commerce and Industry is
responsible for administering the Commercial Register and the
Foundations Register. In the Commercial Register all businesses
established, and carrying on their operations in Aruba, must be
registered. In the Foundations register all foundations incorporated
in Aruba must be registered.
Both these public registers are accessible to
everyone and the Chamber is entrusted with the function of providing
service for the benefit of commerce and industry.
As long as a business or foundation does not appear
in the Registers the owners/directors/board-members will remain
personally liable for all actions in behalf of their organizations.
Furthermore, the responsibility to notify the Trade Register in order
to correct and update filed information rests with the owners,
directors and board members and/or other authorized persons of the
registered companies and foundations.
