Since 1988 the
Chamber is empowered by law to manage the Foundations Register. It is
mandatory for all foundations constituted according to Aruban law to file
registration for public record.
The “Foundations” Ordinance prescribes that the
following important and legal information on the foundation be filed:
the statutory name and the abbreviated name;
the objectives;
the address of the foundation;
the personal data of the members of the board of
directors, and
a true copy of the deed of incorporation, bylaws and
amendments thereto.
