Text Box: Wyndham Aruba Beach Resort & Casino Hotel June 24, 2005   At the Wyndham Aruba Resort, Spa & Casino Aruba Chamber of Commerce Marks 75th Anniversary. This Friday evening, the 12th Annual Business Gala Dinner Meeting for the Aruba Chamber of Commerce in the new Grand Palm Beach Ballroom of the Wyndham Aruba Resort, Spa & Casino. The gala also recognized the continuing celebration of the Chamber’s 75th anniversary. The Wyndham’s skilled food and beverage team coordinated a flawless event that included an art exhibition, a cocktail reception, a three-course meal, keynote speaker Michele Paige of the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association, and dancing to both the Robert y su Solo Banda Show and Tsunami. Gilbert Senchi, curator of the South End Art Foundation, organized a special collection of work for the Chamber’s 75th Anniversary, naming the exhibition “Fibers of our Economy.” A group of successful business people with strong artistic talent shared their work, including Alex Nieuwmeyer of Divi Resorts, Charles Brouns of Charlie’s Bar, Robert Croes of Antraco, and Jani Croes of 4-J Architects, among several others. The Chamber of Commerce will continue marking its 75th year during special events over the next few months.
